The service provided to job seekers searching for employment, including counseling during the hiring process, is entirely free of charge. The expenses related to this service are covered by the employer.

Services that could result in a fee include document translation into a foreign language, resume writing, transportation arrangement, foreign language proficiency testing, coordination of education and training courses, and assistance with tax return filing.

Ideally, the employee should be able to communicate in the language of the country where they intend to work. In the case of a less commonly spoken language, proficiency in English may suffice. Nevertheless, workers are expected to start learning the language of the country where they are employed, particularly if their employment is for an extended and indefinite period.

In reality, various possibilities exist. There are instances where the employer covers the travel expenses upfront, or the worker pays for the travel expenses and is reimbursed later by the employer, or where the employer expects the worker to bear all the expenses. Occasionally, the employer may cover the accommodation costs, but this is typically uncommon and only applicable to certain professions. The employer may provide partial financial assistance for accommodation costs for the initial month, but in most cases, workers are responsible for covering their own accommodation expenses.

The documents required for work permits and visas are arranged by the employer or a recruitment agency working in collaboration with the employer.

A medical examination is only mandatory in certain circumstances when requested by the employer and is necessary to ensure that the employee is capable of performing their job duties safely and effectively.

Typically, this is not required for EU countries, but for international destinations, the employer may request these documents, particularly if they are mandated in the job description.

Indeed, documents must be translated into a foreign language, but there is no requirement to do so in advance. Translation can be done upon the request of the employer.
